Chief Strategy Officer
Who is she?
Cora Banks is the Chief Strategy Officer for NorthNode Group Counseling. Cora’s executive role focuses on strategic planning, leading continuous process improvements, as well as being responsible for business outreach, development, and the cultivation of new partnerships with not-for-profit and for-profit companies who are looking to be a part of the growing mental health industry.
Cora has increased and strengthened NorthNode’s reach in working with Delaware state’s official services and programs like: Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health – Delaware (DSAMH), community leaders, schools, and businesses.
Cora is a retired U.S. Army Disabled Veteran, and has earned a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Business Administration, and a Master of Science degree in Technology from Strayer University in Washington, D.C. She is a certified DoD Acquisition Program Manager, Lean Six Sigma Expert, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) expert, Foundation V3, and Release and Control Practitioner professional.
With more than 30+ years of Senior Leadership, Cora brings unparalleled high-level experience from her previous roles as a former Division Chief (GS-15) at the Department of Defense. Cora also consulted and has advised the Veterans Administration in large-scale infrastructure implementations and technical program management in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
She is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. an international, historically African American Greek-lettered sorority that is a community-conscious, action-oriented organization.
